Privacy Policy — MyAnimeList Helper

Summary

MyAnimeList Helper does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The extension only shows anime statistics on MyAnimeList list pages and fetches anime metadata from the Jikan API.

Data collection

We do not collect:

• Personally identifiable information (PII)
• Browsing history
• Authentication information
• User content from pages
• Financial or payment information
• Location data

Data usage

The extension uses network access only to request anime metadata from https://api.jikan.moe/ based on the anime ID found in the hovered MyAnimeList link.

No analytics, ads, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs are used.

Data sharing

We do not share any user data with third parties. Requests are sent directly from the user's browser to the Jikan API.

Local storage

The extension stores a short-lived in-memory cache of recent results to reduce API calls. No persistent storage is used.
